Bridgett Artise is a pioneer in sustainable fashion. She is the founder of Born Again Vintage an Upcycled clothing line and the Co-Founder of House of BAV, a collective of emerging Black sustainable fashion designers. She is a professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology and a vintage expert contributor to the New York Times. She is the published author of "Born Again Vintage: 25 ways to deconstruct, reinvent and recycle your wardrobe" and launched the Swap Across America, a national clothing swap that is held in underserved communities in the country to raise awareness about Sustainable fashion and showcase the beauty of sharing clothing.
